Funeral services for George W. Healea, 59, Craig farmer who died June 18 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, were held Tuesday afternoon of last week at the Methodist Church in Craig.
Mrs. Healea's uncle, Rev. H.D. Clark of Mitchell, S.D, was in charge of the services, with Rev. Leonard Hartwig, pastor assisting. Burial was in the Craig cemetery.
Music was by Mr. and Mrs. Harold Johnson, who sang "Beyond the Sunset" and a solo by Mrs. Everett Christensen. Mrs. Henry Eriksen was organist.
Mr. Healea was born near Craig May 27,1895. He lived his lifetime as a farmer in the Craig community. He was the son of Joseph S. and Lillie B. Healea.
He was married to Bernice Langford on June 6, 1923, at Blair. Two daughters were born to them.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Margaret Kennedy of Craig and Doris Oberst of Haywood, Calif.; a stepson, Glen Langford of Omaha; five grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Emery Davis of Craig.
