He was born in NC in the year 1777, died Mar 3, 1871 in Logan Co, Oh. He recieved his discharge when at Sacketts harbor. He met Hannah Darriger and was married to her March 9, in Beaver, Pa. they had 10 Children, 7 boys and 3 girls. She was born in Ross Co, Oh. Names of children Jerminia 1814, Nancy Jane 1815, Jarimiah 1817, Isaiah 1818, Prudence 1819, Catherine 1821, Lemuel 1823, Jesse 1825, Joseph 1826, George 1828 & Jacob 1830
