Retired Employe Of Local Schools Taken by Death
Emma L. Clester, 62, 1131 S. Minneapolis. retired employe of the Wichita Public School System, died Wednesday at a Wellington, Kan. hospital.
She was born April 20, 1900 at Springfield, Ill, and had been a resident here 20 years. She had been employed in the cafeteria of East High School before her retirement. She was a member of the Poplar Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors are her husband, W. O. Clester, of the home; a son, Harry, Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers, Harmon Meyer, 1251 N. Emporia, John Meyer, 1246 S. Minnesota, and Harry Meyer, Kennewick, Wash.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Downing Mortuary.

CLESTER—Emma L, age 62, of 1131 South Minneapolis passed away in a Wellington, Kansas hospital Wednesday, January 2nd. Funeral service will be held in the Downing Mortuary Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 5th, 1963 with Mr. Delbert Haun of the Poplar Avenue Church of Christ officiating assisted by Mr. A. C. Williams of Aurora. Missouri. Interment will be in the White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Parking for friends north of the DOWNING MORTUARY.
