Mrs. Ruth Marion Cowan, wife of Millard Cowan , of the Cowan Lumber Co. passed away Tuesday at Hillcrest General Hospital, a few hours after she had returned from an ElPaso hospital. Mrs. Cowan had resided in Silver City many years and had a wide circle of friends. Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Earthel of St. Louis, Mo. and Mrs. Mitzi Roberts, Silver City, seven grandchildren and a brother, Molin Frisk, Washington D.C. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Cox Mortuary
