V. W. Moody, Jr., vice president and assistant manufacturing director of the Reynolds Metals Company, was also killed by the same bolt of lightening, when Moody, along with Dulaney, had taken shelter from the rain under a tree during a game of golf.
Mr. Dulaney, who had been in the employ of the Reynolds Metals Company for 20 years, was born in Bristol, Tenn., and was a graduate of the University of Tennessee.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Gwendolyn Dangerfield Dulaney, of Richmond; two sons, Joseph E. Dulaney, Jr. and Elliott Dulaney both of Richmond; his mother, Mrs. Nancy Lourie, of Bristol, and a sister, Mrs. Robert Cowan, also of Bristol.
Blevins Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
