Elisa (Lisa) Romero Abad, 59 of Redlands, California passed away on Monday, April 22 at 10:05 a.m. of cancer. She is survived by her husband John Abad, sons Jeremy and Cy Abad and daughter Natalie Romero. Lisa's comedic wit, her realism, and her ability to talk to anyone and everyone, will be missed. Her talents of cooking delicious meals, baking, making her tamales and sharing with everyone will never be forgotten. She was an upholder of education, graduating from Eisenhower High School 1972, earning a Bachelor of Arts from California State University San Bernardino in Sociology and Criminology and attended the Riverside Culinary School, receiving an Associates of Arts in Culinary Arts. Her hobbies include studying Buddhism, Christianity, cooking, collecting art, antiques, first edition cook books, reading, and analyzing literature, drawing, acting, gardening, making jewelry, going to swap meets and estate sales, and making her home beautiful for her family. Her beauty, presence, energy, smile, and kindness will never be forgotten. She has touched many hearts and lives.

The Memorial will be held on Friday, April 26 at 3:00 p.m. at Redlands Church of Christ, 1000 Roosevelt Rd, Redlands, CA 92374, where those who attend can read a passage, say a word of remembrance, and pay their condolences to a woman who has impacted their lives. Family and friends can be received at the home immediately following the memorial at 842 E. High Ave., Redlands, CA 92374.
