Leonard R. BEIGH, 74,Akron, died 5:30 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 1998 at ExtendaCare, Rochester.

Born in Claypool to Arlie and Laurana KARNES BEIGH, he married Helen L. YARIAN on April 8, 1945 at Claypool. She died on Nov 4, 1995.

Mr.Beigh was a farmer and a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, Rochester Order of the Eastern Star, Rochester Masonic Lodge, Fort Wayne Scottish Rite, Rochester Royal Arch, Fort Wayne Shriners, the Fulton County Historical Society, and Meals on Wheels of Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda and husband Raymond WIDMAN, Rochester, four grandchildren, Rae Ann [WIDMAN] Tamra [WIDMAN], Raymond L. [WIDMAN] and Thomas [WIDMAN]; two great-grandchildren, Miraenda and Riley; two sisters, Audra RHOADES, Pierceton and Neva TUCKER, Valparaiso; two brothers, Edwin BEIGH, Warsaw and Norman BEIGH, Hartford, Ill.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice BEIGH and a brother, Lloyd BEIGH.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Sunday at Beaver Dam United Methodist Church with Rev. Roy LEE officiating. Burial will be in Akron Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
Saturday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron. Masonic rites will be at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
