Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was employed at the Murray Corporation in Scranton prior to his retirement nine years ago. He was a member of St. Boniface Church and Knights of St. George.
Surviving are his wife, the former Margarert Schwartz; son, Thomas, Forty Fort; daughter, Mrs. Maureen Horne, Meriden, Conn ; sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Brennan, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Mary Haydt, Mountiantop; Mrs. Louise McDonald, Avoca; Mrs. Frances O'Donnell, Falls Church, Va.; and five grandchildren.
The funeral was held Friday morning from the Edward B. Evans Funeral Home and from St. Boniface Church. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
