Ruth Helen Morrow, 90, of Sunnyside passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007 in Pasco.

She was born Sept. 14, 1917 to Arch Dare and Lena Delia (Johnson) Hull in Angora, Neb. Ruth spent her early years in Nebraska. In 1934 she married Wiley Needham. In 1945 she married Roy C. Morrow and together they made their home in Sunnyside. Ruth and Roy enjoyed growing beautiful peonies. Ruth was a very hard working woman who owned and operated Tim's Coffee Shop in Sunnyside for many years. She enjoyed making pies and was known around town as the pie lady. Ruth also enjoyed creek trout fishing, playing bingo and gambling.

She is survived by her two sons, Rodney G. Morrow and wife, Marcella, of Richland, and Phillip Needham and wife, Heidi, of Mexico; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; one son, Charles Needham, three brothers; and two sisters.

Inurnment services will be held Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside. .

Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside is in charge or arrangements.
