Mrs. Fox was born in Caledonia to the late Eldo W. and Blanche N. (Harwick) Lehman. She married the late William T. Fox on Oct., 25, 1941, and he preceded her in death May 22, 1986.
An area resident for most of her life, Laura enjoyed sewing and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her four sons and daughters-in-law, William and Janice Fox of Mt. Gilead, Jerry L. and Kathy Fox of Stauton, Ill., Richard and Sue Fox of Ft. Myers, Fla., Charles and Sandra Humphrey of Galion; and her daughter, Ruthann Drumm; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Brenda Lehman of Mt. Gilead; and three sisters, Dorothy Corwin and Mary Musgrave, both of Galion, and Nellie and Jack Poland of Mt. Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Humphrey; her granddaughter, Tammy Drumm; and her two sisters, Oma Dilsaver and Shirley Ernesberger.
Friends may call 6-9 p.m. today at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Samuel Buehrer officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.
