Esther Webber, 97, Fargo, ND, formerly West Fargo, ND, died on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Elim Care Center, Fargo.
Esther Dallmann was born September 11, 1910 to Otto and Helena (Mueller) Dallmann at the family farm in Edgeley, ND. At the age of four, Esther and her family moved to Winifred, MT to take up a homestead. Years later, they returned to their roots in North Dakota. Esther attended school and had numerous housekeeping jobs.
On April 25, 1934, she married Ferdinand "Fritz" Webber in Page, ND. Together they farmed in Page, ND until they made their new home and farmed in Amenia, ND. After their retirement from farming in 1977, they moved to West Fargo, ND. Her husband Fritz preceded her in death on September 7, 1981.
Esther continued to live in West Fargo, enjoying life by playing cards at the VFW, spending quality time with her grandchildren, and kept busy with various church events. Esther moved to Elim Rehab and Care Center of Fargo in 2005. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, attending chapel, and visiting with other residence. Esther has touched so many people in so many ways with her loving heart and unconditional kindness.
Esther is survived by; one daughter, Darlene (Jerry) Sclater of Roseville, CA; two sons, Maynard (Parmoon) Webber of Brea, CA, Kenneth (Linda) Webber of Fargo, ND; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Helena Dallmann, her husband Fritz, grandson Greg Sclater, four sisters and two brothers,
She will forever remain in our hearts.
Visitation: Sunday, March 9, 2008 from 5 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at the West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND and one hour before the service at the church.
Funeral: Monday at 11 AM at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, West Fargo.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
