Margie Virginia Cersey, age 85, passed away, Sunday, April 21, 2013.
Margie was a native of Lawtey, FL and a member of Woodstock Baptist Church and she was preceded in death by her parents, Ruffin and Ethel Griffis, a daughter, Anita Gail Head, a sister, Lamar Griffis, brothers, Herman, Richard, Ruffin Eugene and Jessie Griffis. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Clifford H. Cersey, a daughter, Dusty Jean Platt (Louis), a son-in-law, Rev. George Head,; three sisters, Agnes Pugh, Lavon Waters (Junior), Lois Tucker; three grandchildren, Michael Head, Thomas and Dillon McDonough.
Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 11:00am in the chapel of FRASER FUNERAL HOME, 8168 Normandy Blvd. (781-4314) with Rev. George Head officiating followed by interment in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 - 7:00pm Tuesday. (TODAY).
