Wallace "David" Taylor, 93, Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away January 5, 2018 at the home from natural causes.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 2:00-3:00pm and a Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 3:00pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.

David was a loving son, brother, husband, father, step-father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He and his wife Irene spent a blessed 41 years of marriage, 33 of those years in retirement, laughing, loving, gardening, spending time with family, friends, church family, and enjoying great food and his favorite sports teams.

David was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Grain Valley, Missouri. He retired from Brinks. Inc. after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #41.

He was preceded in death by his parents Orval and Pearl Taylor, his first wife Bettie, brothers Jay and Richard Taylor, sister Jean Clay, sons Rick and Ronnie Taylor, and granddaughter Tammy Taylor.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Taylor of the home, two sons and a daughter-in-law, a brother and sister-in-law, a sister, two step-daughters, many nieces and nephews, 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
