She was born November 1, 1926 in Cedar Falls, NC, to the late Jacob and Alice Harvell. Mrs. Crout has been an area resident for the past 50 years and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Ray Crout, sister, Gladys H. Webster, brothers, G. T. Harvell and Lester Harvell.
