CARLISLE Roger L. Garner, 53, of 3286 Spring Road, Middlesex Twp., died yesterday in Cumberland Crossing Nursing Facility in the township.
He was a mechanic at Daily Express and a member of Carlisle Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are his wife, Nona I. Powers Garner; four sons, Ralph D. of Biglerville, John E. of Fairfield and Roger L. Jr. and Jeffrey A., both of Carlisle; three daughters, Debbie I. Gastley of New Oxford and Lynn M. Garner and Angie N. Garner, both at home; his mother, Edith V. Walters Garner of Gardners; four brothers, Paul L. and Rodney L., both of Gardners, David W. of Newville and James L. of Biglerville; three sisters, Darlene M. Parks of Elyria, Ohio and Christine E. Bupp and Betty I. Daron, both of Gardners; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, West Pennsboro Twp.
