SANDERSVILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Myrtle Lord Meeks, 88, of Ferncrest Drive, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2000, at Heritage Inn.
Burial will be in Zeta Cemetery, Tennille.
Mrs. Meeks, a lifelong resident of Washington County, was a homemaker. She was a former nurse's aide at Oconee Nursing Home and a former employee of Holmes Canning Co. She was a member of Tennille Church of God.
Survivors include a son, Bernard Allen Meeks, Covington; two daughters, Adilene M. Hitchcock, Sandersville, and Brenda M. Dale, Orlando, Fla.; and six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
