Edith J. (Bollinger) Sterner, 83, of Jefferson (Codorus), died at 4:57 p.m. Sunday at York Hospital. She was the wife of Wilfred E. Sterner, who died July 23, 1992.
The service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Sauter-Irwin Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove. Burial will be in St. Peter's (Lischey's) Church Cemetery. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sterner was born Sept. 19, 1913, in North Codorus Township. She was the daughter of the late William L. and Jennie C. (Markle) Bollinger.
She was a member of St. Peter's (Lischey's) United Church of Christ and Ladies Auxiliary of Jefferson Fire Company.
Mrs. Sterner is survived by two daughters, Annabelle R. Sterner at home and Treva M. Myers of Spring Grove RD 3; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul L. Bollinger of Spring Grove RD 5.
Officiating at the service will be her interim pastor, the Rev. William A. Sherman, and the Rev. Charles I. Hull, pastor of Christ United Church of Christ in Jefferson.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's (Lischey's) United Church of Christ Memorial Fund, Box 152, Spring Grove 17362.
