She grew up and attended schools in Minnesota coming to the Sheboygan area after high school. On June 13, 1942 she was united in marriage to Roland Brunette. Erma was employed with Kohler Company and following her retirement from there worked at Piggly Wiggly in the deli. Erma enjoyed travel and playing poker and bingo. She always cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Erma was the beloved mother of 6 children.
Erma is survived by her children, 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, her two brothers, both of Fond du Lac, and many nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Roland who passed in 1983, her sister Dorothy Feustel, brothers Adolph, Norvin, and Warren and an infant brother Dwayne.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 11th St., Sheboygan with Rev. Paul Fliss officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00A.M. until the time of Mass at 12:00P.M. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, you may make a memorial donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation in Erma's name.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude for the compassionate care provided by the entire staff of Azura Memory Care as well as the staff at Grace Hospice.
