Osmar "Slugger" Alanis passed away on July 27, 2011 at St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, CA.
He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all.
He is survived by his children; Amanda Ramirez, Matthew Alanis, and Alyssa Alanis, his mother; Rosemary Alanis, his companion; Erendira Bedolla, his stepsons; Alvaro Madrigal, Jovanna Madrigal, and Alan Madrigal, his brothers and sisters; Mary Ellen Alanis-Carbajal, Alfred Alanis, Jack Alanis, Larry Alanis, Oscar Alanis, Alex Alanis, and Jacqueline Alanis-Morua, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father; his brother; Bobby Alanis and his grandson; Russell Ramirez.
Services will be held at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Chapel with Visitation on Wed, August 3, 2011 from 4PM to 8PM with Rosary at 7PM.
Funeral service will be on Thurs, August 4, 2011 at 11AM with Interment to follow, with Military Honors, at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.
