She was preceded in death by her father, Irvin W. Cavell Sr.; and her brother, Irvin W. Cavell Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Jarvell "Vell" and Robert "Black" Cavell; one daughter, Robin "Mama" Cavell; and their father, Robert Stanley; her mother, Lorraine O. Cavell; one sister, Sheraine Cavell; one uncle, seven aunts, two great-aunts, a host of nieces, other relatives and friends; three devoted friends, Denise Straughter "Wiggy," Michael Cheatham "MJ" and Darryl Nash. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where homegoing services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. Rev. Elder Richard Tucker officiating.
