Mrs. Ida Gullett Sutton, 74, died at noon today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Georgia Elizabeth Jones, 911 West Laurel street. She had been ill for the past seven months.
Mrs. Sutton was born in Washington county September 20, 1872, the daughter of the late Andrew M and Lucinda Fields Gullett. In 1890, she was married at Salem to Ben Goodpasture. In 1902, she was married at Salem to W.B. Colvin. On January 13, 1910*, she was married to George W. Sutton, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Sutton had lived in this vicinity for the past 37 years and many friends mourn her passing.
She is survived by five children: Ralph Goodpasture, of Salem; Paul Goodpasture of Cincinatti; Mrs. Della Allman, Mrs. Ella Mitchell and Mrs. Georgia Elizabeth Jones all of Seymour; three brothers, Daniel Gullett, of Seymour; John L. Gullett of Tacoma, Wash.; Andrew N. Gullett, of Little York, Ind., and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Moody, of Little York and Mrs. Catherine Loudermilk of Medora. Nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Five children preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon from the Voss Mortuary. Burial in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Voss Mortuary after 7 o'clock Saturday night.
