Mary Frances (Frankie) Chumney Nichols was born March 29, 1919 in Decatur County County, TN the daughter of the late V. J. and Margaret Long Chumney.

She was united in marriage to Robert Nichols on May 25, 1940. Mr. Nichols preceded her in death on August 10, 1984.

Mrs. Nichols was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Adamsville, Tennessee.

She departed this life on April 18, 2013 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 94 Years, 20 Days.

Mrs. Nichols is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Dickey and husband Eddie of Adamsville, TN, Robbie Majors and husband Larry of Adamsville, TN; four grandchildren, Rob Dickey and wife Tammy of Senatobia, MS, Catherine Catt and husband David of West Memphis, AR, Leah Oatsvall and husband Kevin of Lexington, TN, Eric Majors and wife Becki of Soddy Daisy, TN; eight great grandchildren, Jessica Dickey, Gray Patterson, Payton Catt, Caroline Catt, Jim Oatsvall, Jill Oatsvall, Grant Majors and Samuel Majors.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Nichols was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Chumney and a brother, B. W. Chumney.
