She was survived by her husband, Edwin Lee "Buddy" Nobles (married on July 17, 1959); children, Ricky Nobles (Paula Haddock Nobles), Gerald Nobles (Sue Beamon Nobles), Wanda Gordon (Chris Gordon), Melvin Nobles (Kimberly Brock Nobles) and Kelvin Nobles (Paula Congleton); eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives and friends. Her funeral was held on April 21, 2012, with D.J. Maxey and The Rev. David Linton officiating.∼Mrs. Linda Fay Buck Nobles, age 73, a resident of 1125 East Barr Road, Chocowinity, died Thursday, April 18, 2013 at River Trace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Washington.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington officiated by D. J. Maxey and Rev. David Linton. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens of Washington. Michael Gordon, Russell Nobles, Douglas Whitford, Joshua Whitford, Pat Phair and Ronnie Nobles will serve as pallbearers. Joe Nobles and Ronald Nobles will serve as honorary pallbearers.
