Sherrel Abbott Richardson, 66, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at her home.
Visitation will be 5-8pm Saturday, April 20 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram.
Services will be 2pm Sunday, April 21 at First Baptist Church of Terry with a one hour visitation prior to service time at the church. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery.

Mrs. Richardson was born in Memphis, TN to the late Joe Coleman Abbott and Evelyn Coker Abbott. She has been living in Terry since 1970 and retired from MS State Department of Health after 22 years of service where she was the Office Systems Advisor. Then she served on the State Records Committee for the MS Department of Archives and History for several years representing the MS State Department of Health. Mrs. Richardson was a member of First Baptist Church of Terry and of the 39ers Senior Citizens Club at the church.

She is preceded in death by her son Cole Richardson.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years Rick Richardson of Terry; son David Richardson of Terry; daughters Robyn (Terry) Smith of Hattiesburg, Greta Richardson of Palm Springs, CA and Karla (Ricky) Lovertich of Terry; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and relatives in Memphis, TN and Monroe County.
