Mrs. Eva Allred Dies at Age 49
Mrs. Eva Allred, 49, wife of William Allred of 708 Park Dr. died at 5:43 am today at her home after an extended period of ill health.
At the beginning of her illness nearly two years ago, she underwent surgical treatment in Barnes Hospital, St. Louis. For the past nine weeks she has been bedfast at her home.
She was born Sept. 10, 1895 in Alton, a daughter of the late J. Mark and Carrie Curry.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are a brother, Tom Curry, Alton; and four sisters, Mrs. Addie Shea, Wilmington, Mrs. Joseph Myers, Brighton, and Mrs. Liza Applebee and Mrs. Belle Pickering, Alton.
Private funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 am at Morow-Quinn funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
