13, 1943 the daughter of Wilbur
and Fern (Martin) Peterson, Sr,
near Marathon. She attended
school in Marathon, graduating
from Marathon High School in
1961 Following high school,
she attended a lab technicians
college in Minneapolis, Minn.
She was married twice and
helped raise three step-children.
Most of her adult life was spent
in Sioux City where she ran a
day care out of her home.
Mrs. Matson was a member of
the United Methodist Church in
Marathon and a volunteer for
the Salvation Army.
She was preceded in death by
her parents and one brother-in-law
Howard Andersen.
