After living on various farms in the area, the family finally settled in Pleasant Township.
William married Mary Fitzsimmons and also raised a family of ten children; Lucy, Cecilia, Francis, Mary, William, Ann, Thomas, Ella, Elizabeth, and Amelia. William died in 1888 at 80 years of age.
