Carrie L. Doll Focht was born July 7, 1894 at Wiota, Iowa, the daughter of Michael B. and Martha Ann Rumbly Doll and passed away at West Heights Manor in Clarinda on November 1, 1976.
On September 1, 1915 she married Thad Focht. To this union four sons were born, Bernard of Salem, Oregon, Stanley of Coin, Iowa, Roger and Byron Keith, deceased.
She lived most of her life in the Morton Mills and Villisca neighborhood and moved to Coin in 1972. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thad in 1974, by her two sons, two brothers and four sisters. Surviving are her sons Bernard and Stanley and four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, November 5, 1976 at 2 p.m. from Sutphen Funeral Home in Villisca, Iowa with Rev. Eldon Haworth officiating.
Casket bearers were Vincen Hoffman, Clark Devine, Ed Weiner, Ivan Doll, Howard Penwell, and Orville Anderson.
Interment was in the Morton Mills Cemetery, Morton Mills, Iowa.
Arrangements were by Sutphen Funeral Home, Villisca, Iowa.
