Gwen P. Stoor, 88 of Homosassa, Florida died on Monday, January 23, 2012 in Brooksville, Florida in the loving care of her family and the staff of HPH Hernando Hospice Care Center. Gwen was born in Leavenworth, Kansas on Tuesday, October 16, 1923 to Herman and Esther (Auty) Erickson. Gwen moved to this area 14 years ago from Alabama. She was of the Christian faith, an Eastern Star, a homemaker, enjoyed crafting with stained class, crossword puzzles, feeding the birds, wildlife, gardening and flowers.
Gwen was preceded in death by her husbands, Tage Stoor and Fredrick Moone and sons, Randy and Guy Stoor. Survivors include her son and daughter in law, two daughters and their spouses, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
