Survivors include her sisters, Doris Dries of St. Paul, MN, Ardis Huizenga of Glenburn, ND; and her brother, Robert White residing in Minot, ND. Also surviving is her son, Mel (Ginny) Suelzle of Bothell, WA; and her daughter, Wendy (Gene) Clinger of Running Springs, CA. Blanche was active in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church while living in Yakima, and Saint Timothy Lutheran of Edmonds, WA when she moved to Lynnwood in 2003. She loved to crochet and embroider, did it beautifully and loved to share it with friends and family. Her crafts were recognized by many and were popular items at church bazaars and local fairs.
Blanche was a very sociable person, enjoyed being around her many friends at the Alderwood Court Apartments and her church. She especially enjoyed interacting with younger women who she related to best. She was an avid bingo player, faithful to her favorite numbers and bingo cards and an excellent card player. In her younger years she enjoyed dancing, especially to western music.
The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to all the staff at Seabrook Assisted Care in Everett and to the Providence Hospice Staff who provided wonderful and loving care.
