Gina Marie Mihulka, 15, 1715 N. 17th St., died Saturday night at a local hospital (Mennonite) as a result of injuries suffered in a truck-bicycle accident on Wednesday evening.

The girl and her companion were riding west on Court Street when a semi-truck made a turn off Court Street on North 2nd Street. The girls apparently did not realize that the truck was turning until it was too late to avoid hitting it. Miss Mihulka was run over by the rear wheel of the truck. One of her companions was uninjured while the other escaped serious injury.

She was born on August 22, 1955 in Schuyler and moved to Beatrice from Lincoln six years ago. She was in the tenth grade at Beatrice High School and was a member of the school orchestra. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and was active in the Girl Scouts.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Mihulka; a sister, Renee, who attends Kansas State University; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Varejcka and Mr. and Mrs. (Arlene) Ralph Mihulka, both of Schuyler.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday from Centenary United Methodist Church with Rev. Clarence W. Buehler officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Home Cemetery. A memorial has been established with Gerald C. Davison and John B. Dando in charge.
