Della L. Pepper, age 73 of Beallsville died Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 10:15 a.m. in the Mon Valley Health Center following a long illness.

She was born March 31, 1931 in Labelle, PA, a daughter of the late Earl and Cecilla Casterly Jones. Mrs. Pepper was Protestant by faith and a homemaker. On September 13, 1954 she married Norman Pepper who died September 1, 1980.

Surviving is a daughter Carol Shashura of Fredericktown; five grandchildren: Colleen Sue Kenimen of Seattle, WA, Henry George Kenimen of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Kimberly Ann Fassett of Grand Forks, ND, John A. Shashura, Jr. of Washington, DC, and Della Shashura Rusilko of Beallsville; three great grandchildren: Evan Parsons, Brooke Rusilko and Austin Rusilko; one sister Mildred Shaffer of Streetsboro, OH. Deceased are four sisters; Laura Rollison, Helen Grace Abbott, Earla Miller and Faye Stinger.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9pm Monday and 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Tuesday in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main St., Beallsville, PA where services will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at 11:00a.m. with the Rev. Edd Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery.
