Joanne was a beautiful, fun-loving, caring, wonderful woman full of huge amounts of love and laughter. Everyone who met her instantly liked or even loved her and she considered them her friend! She would do anything she could to help or just to make you smile. She was often 'the life of the party' with her wonderful sense of humor. She loved her parents, siblings and had more love than ever for her daughter's Kim and Katie. She was over the moon in love with her grandchildren Megan, Krystal, Alissa, Patrick, Michael, Jimmy, Sabrina and Johnnie, all of 8 of them!
In 1989 she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. She fought a long, valiant fight for 23 yrs with heart disease added to the mix in 2000. She lived with and beat that cancer and fought heart disease for 12 years on top of it! Nothing was going to keep her down!
She loved finding a bargain as those of you who knew her well would know. She bought more stuff for a quarter than anyone could imagine. She loved making her jewelry and giving them as gifts. She freely gave everyone her heart and was a loving caring Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandma(Nana) and friend.
She lost her battle with heart disease, but thanks be to God for giving us the time we had with her, she was a great blessing to so many! We all miss her love and laughter and we know she is now our Angel watching over us!
