Mrs. Allen was a homemaker. She was born June 7, 1935, in Watseka, the daughter of Louis and Ruth Denton Noerenberg. Her husband, Vernon Allen, whom she married Nov. 7, 1954, died in 1979.
Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Audra Allen, of Kankakee, Bruce Allen, and Mark and Jill Allen, all of Bourbonnais; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Julie and John Kravat, of Mahomet, Sue Allen of Bourbonnais, and Amy and Jim Dluzak,of Kankakee; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Don Natschke, of Woodland.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Rosie Gossett; and one brother, Louis Noerenberg Jr.
