David L. Keller, 93, of Walnut Springs, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, at Walnut Springs Baptist Church. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8p.m. Wednesday, in the Lawson Memorial Chapel in Walnut Springs.

David was born in Independence, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a former Mayor and Municipal Judge for Walnut Springs. David was also Veteran's Service officer for Bosque County for 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty.

Survivors include daughters, Carolyn Knigge and husband, Larry, of Conroe, and Margaret Keller, of Conroe; sons, David Keller Jr. and wife, Charlotte, of Deer Park, Steve Keller, of Sugar Land, Paul Keller, of Walnut Springs, and John Keller, of Conroe; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
