PULASKI - Elmer "Mousey" Junior Arnold, age 77 of Pulaski died Monday July 7, 2008 at his niece's Pulaski residence.
He was born November 15, 1930 in Wythe Co., and was the son of the late Anna Collins Arnold and Elmer Straley Arnold.
He was a retired employee of the Town of Pulaski having worked for many years in the street department and was a member of the Midway Church of God of Prophecy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Spence Arnold, brothers, Elroy Arnold and Walter Arnold, and a sister-in-law, Beatrice Arnold.
He is survived by a son; Elmer Edward "Eddie" Arnold of Pulaski: daughters; Crystal Arnold of Pulaski, Rhonda Williams and her husband Frank of Pulaski, and Lisa Arnold Taylor and her husband . Scott of Draper: brothers; Billy Gene Arnold of Wytheville, and Cecil Arnold and his friend Shirley Coffey of Max Meadows: sisters; Nancy White and her husband John of Pulaski and Doris Mines and her husband Paul of Max Meadows. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be s held Wednesday July 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons with the Rev. Randall Jones and the Rev. Betty Clark , officiating. Interment will follow in Gunton Park in Wythe Co. in the Jones Family Cemetery. Visiting will be anytime Tuesday after 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p m.
