JAY DINGESS, age 65, Mt. Olivet, died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington. Born March 17, 1948 in Harts, West Virginia to the late Blain and Sally Dingess, he was a member of the Heritage Temple Free Will Baptist Church, a United States Vietnam Army Veteran, worked for Chesapeake and Ohio Railway for over twenty years, a water well driller and a long haul trucker. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mansfield Dingess and a sister, Joyclyn Dingess.

He is survived by his wife, Pearl J. Dingess; two sons, Matthew J. Dingess and Seth B. Dingess, both of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Robert Dingess, South Gate, Michigan and six sisters, Madeline Dingess, Amanda, Ohio, Verda Clay, Worthington, Ohio, Louella Hope, Columbus, Ohio, Judy Mullins, Amanda, Ohio, Alice Prugh, Scottsdale, Arizona and Margaret Fickle, Pataskala, Ohio. A very special thanks to Randy White and Ronald White who helped take care of Jay while he was in the hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday at Ware Funeral Home, Cynthiana by Larry Mullins with visitation at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery
