Pauline E. Weaver, 99, of Mifflin Street, Saxton, passed away on April 12, 2013 at home. She was born on July 5, 1913 in Everett, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Waldo Emerson and Margaret Elizabeth (Felton) Avey. On June 27, 1932 in Hagerstown, Maryland; she married Paul Cameron Weaver. Her husband preceded her in death on May 5, 1995. She is survived by the following family: Sister: Doris Louise "Pat" Barnett, Windermere, FL Granddaughter: Shirley Gail Weaver, White Plains, MD Daughter-in-law: Zula Grace (Watson) Weaver, Mechanicsville, MD Great Grandson: Gary Lee Weaver, Jr., Mechanicsville, MD Granddaughter-in-law: Cathy Lee (Stathers) Weaver, Mechanicsville, MD She was preceded in death by a son: Ronald Richard Weaver, grandson: Gary Lee Weaver, Sr., and siblings: Clarence Avey, Elizabeth "Bib" Grimes, Charles Avey, Joseph Avey and Shirley Siburt. Pauline studied floral design in Washington, DC and worked at the Everett Flower Shop in Everett under her sister's ownership "Bib" Grimes. She and her husband later owned and operated Weavers Grocery Store, Saxton, which later became a paint store. She visited forty-nine states, Mexico, Canada and traveled to Alaska in an old Volkswagen van.
