She was born on January 29, 1919, in Kerrville, Texas, to Ernest Rotge and Ester Surber Rotge. Sybil worked at a veterinarian clinic from 1965 until 1982, where she worked for Dr. Nunn and she worked in Houston for Ace Brink Company as a secretary. She married Losson Rogers on April 24, 1937, in Junction, Texas. He passed away in 1968.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister.
Sybil is survived by her two sons, Grant Rogers of Ingram and Losson Rogers and wife Christina of Temple; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Kerrville, with Chaplain Steve Doss officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her name to Peterson Hospice in Kerrville.
Arrangements are under the care of Wright's Funeral Parlor, Kerrville.
