FANNIE J. COOK Mrs. Fannie Jane Cook,100, of the North Adams Nursing Home, died at 6:48 a.m. Wednesday (January 30, 2002) in the home. Born July 25, 1901 in LaHarpe, IL, Fannie was the daughter of Clarence Henry and Rachel Lucinda Mizneer Farris. She married Robert Martin Cook on July 8, 1922 in Carthage, IL. He died June 17, 1972. Fannie was a member of Grandview Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and the time she spent with her family. Surviving is a daughter, Fern L. Jones of Quincy; four sons, Clarence William 'Bill' Cook and his wife Margaret of Ursa, Robert D. Cook and his wife Pat of Plainville, and Marvin H. Cook and his wife Dee and Warren E. Cook and his wife Norma both of Mendon; 41 grandchildren; 78 great grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Fannie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four daughters, Roxanne Cook, Irene Maglioacchetti, Doris Nance and Erma Albrecht; an infant son, Russel Cook; three brothers; and a sister in infancy. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 in Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Pastor Dennis Thomas. Burial will be in West Point Cemetery in West Point, IL. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:30 until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Grandview Baptist Church.
