Mr. Cockrell died in the Haynesville General hospital. Mr. Cockrell was a retired farmer of the Dykesville community. Born in Arkansas, he had lived in this area for 51 years. Mr. & Mrs. Cockrell resided on their farm in Dykesville until a few months ago when they moved to Haynesville, La.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, four daughters, 14 Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren.
