Mr. Alford is survived by his wife, Esther Alford of the home; four brothers, Douglas E. Alford and Ellis Alford, both of Mullins, S.C., Kerry Alford of Charleston, S.C., and Benny Alford of Danville, Va.; and a sister, Cara B. Sawyer of Marion, S.C….
