Died; On Monday June 4th at 3 p.m., Mrs. Elizabeth J. Leary, aged 75 years. For some time past the deceased had been afflicted with paralysis of the right side which caused her great suffering until death came to her as a happy relief. Mrs. Leary was a devout member of the Episcopal Church and died in sweet peace and happy hope of eternal joy. She was a native of North Carolina, but had been a resident of this County for six years. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Rosberry, of Westcliffe, and two sons, John H. Leary, Custer county's efficient clerk and S. M. Leary a prominent merchant of Corpus Christi, Tex., all of whom were with her in the last hours. The funeral took place yesterday and was very largely attended by sorrowing relatives and friends.
