Mr. Lloyd J. Popp, age 71, of 9504 Middle Road, Manitowoc, died Thursday, September 23, 1993, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 25, 1993, at 9:45 a.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Alverno. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Mike Flanary with burial in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Alverno.
He was born December 22, 1921, in the Township of Manitowoc Rapids, son of the late John and Bertha Holzer Popp. He married Betty J. Gruber, June 24, 1944, in Manitowoc. Mr. Popp was self employed as a farmer for many years on the home farm in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids. He retired from farming in 1970 and became employed by the Manitowoc Health Care Center from which he retired. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Alvernao.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; six children, Daniel (Debbe) Popp, Two Rivers, Michael (Irma) Popp, Franksville, Gerald Popp, West Allis, Jeanne (Lee) Matthias, Manitowoc, Maureen Popp and her fiance Sean O'Fallon, Manitowoc, Mary (Daniel) Reznichek, Manitowoc; two sisters, Irene (Harvey) Stauss, Manitowoc, Annabelle Glaeser, Manitowoc; nine grandchildren, John, Tammy, Kim, Mark, Brenda, Mikki, Sarah, Megan and Hallie; also other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Friday from 5-8 p.m. where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. led by Rev. Flanary.
