CAMPBELL, Elma I., died on Friday, April 8, 1994 at the age of 95. Known to her family and friends lovingly as "Bucka", she was originally a native of Norfolk, Virginia, where she met and married her husband, Walter E. Campbell, Sr. in 1921. She had been a widow since 1980. She had lived in Indianapolis, Indiana, and Pittsburgh,

Pennsylvania before coming to Oklahoma City in 1947. She studied fine art at the Pittsburgh Art Institute, and with Dick Goetz in Oklahoma City, and wan an accomplished oil painter. She was a Certified Geneologist with the National Assn. of Geneologists, and was a charter member of the Oklahoma Geneological Society. Additionally, she was a member of the Oklahoma Society of Mayflower Descendants, the Magna Carta Dames, the Daughters of Colonial Wars, the United Daughters of Confederacy, and the Daughters of American Revolution. She and her husband were active for many years in Rotary International, were members of the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club, and were members of All Soul's Episcopal Church since 1947. Survivors include her son, Rev. Walter E. Campbell Jr. and his wife, Virginia; grandchildren, Walter E. Campbell III of Seattle, Wash., Drew Campbell of Bedford, Texas, Mary Foster of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Annie Thompson of Bedford, Texas; and nine great grandchildren. A memorial eu charist will be celebrated to rejoice in thanksgiving for a life well lived at All Soul's Episcopal Church, NW 63rd and Pennsylvania, at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 1994. In lieu of flowers, please make your contributions to a favorite charity. We bid y ou farewell Bucka, with fond memory of many wonderful times and years. Live well with the angels.
