Mrs. Croteau was born in Somersworth, NH on September 1, 1928, the daughter of Henry and Aurore (Roy) Bolduc and was a longtime resident of Gonic. Prior to retirement she was employed at General Electric in Somersworth.
Rita was a life member and past president of the Emblem Club #40, a member of the NH Grange, and the Eastern New Hampshire Pomonna Grange, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, a volunteer at SHARE, and a Eucharistic Minister at Holy Rosary Church in Rochester, NH.
She loved going out to eat, her crafts, especially crocheting, cooking, and riding in her boat, "Bad Habits". She also loved swimming and spending time with her children, grand children and great-grandchildren.
Rita was the widow of Robert Croteau and was also predeceased by a daughter, Mary Croteau.
Burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Gonic, NH.
