Born on September 8, 1942 in Houtzdale, a the daughter of the late Clifford Traux and Margaret (McKinney) Truax Leonard.
Mrs. Ball graduated in 1960 from the Madera High School. She had worked as a Postal Clerk for 11 years at the Smoke Run Post Office and was also a homemaker . She was a Christian by faith.
On November 23, 1961 in the Smoke Run United Methodist Church, she married Leslie R. Ball, Sr who survives of Smoke Run.
Mrs. Ball is survived by two sons and a daughter, Leslie R. Ball, Jr. and his former wife Lisa Ball, of Smoke Run; Clifford Ball and his wife Nicole of Harrisburg, PA and Margaret Magnetti of Smoke Run.
Also surviving are 12 grandchildren: Ashley, Jolene, Kaylee and Matthew Ball; Austin, Collin, Olivia and Trevor Ball; Joshua, Michala, Justin, and Jeremy Magnetti and one great-grandson.
Mrs. Ball is survived by a sister, Kay Stare of Harrisburg. A number of nieces and nephew also survive.
Mrs. Ball is preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather John Leonard and a daughter, Debra K. Ball who died on November 3, 1984.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday, March 9 from 9 - 11 am. at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc., Madera, PA.
Funeral service will be held on Wed. March 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Kruise Funeral Homes, Inc., Madera, with Pastor Mark Melhorn officiating. Interment will follow in the Beulah Cemetery, Ramey.
