Mrs. Lillie Green dies suddenly on Sunday
Mrs. Lillie Green, 67, widow of C. A. "Ott" Green, died suddenly Sunday morning at her home in Rushville, her death being the result of a cerebral hemorrhage.
Mrs. Green's death followed that of her husband in less than four months, his death having occurred at a SpringfieldHospital September 9, as the result of spinal injuries sustained several weeks previous when a truck crashed into a horse-drawn vehicle in which he was riding.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. H. S. Crede, were held Wednesday at 2:00 p. m., at the Lawler Funeral home. Interment was in the Rushville cemetery.
Mrs. Green is survived by the following children: Mrs. Helen LaMar of Pontiac, Mich; also by a step daughter, Mrs. Edna Schultz of Rushville; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Bradbury of Rushville and Mrs. Emma Willey of Quincy, and two brothers, Robert and William VanOrder, both of Quincy .

Lilly May Green, youngest daughter of James K. and Frances VanOrder, was born in Rushville, November 15, 1878, and departed this life at her home on West Washington street, December 30, 1945 , at the age of 67 years, 1 month, and 15 days.
She was united in marriage to Charles A. Green, who departed this life less than four months ago. To them was born one daughter.
She leaves to mourn her death, her children, Mrs. Helen LaMarr, Willis and William Skiles, all of Michigan, and Mrs. Edna Schultz of Rushville; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Bradbury of Rushville and Mrs. Willey of Quincy; two brothers, William VanOrder of Peoria and Robert VanOrder of Royal Oak, Mich.; twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Green was a loving wife and mother, and leaves a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at the Lawler Funeral home, January 2, at 2:00 p. m., conducted by Rev. H. S. Crede.
