TAYLORS - James Warren Carroll, 62, of 265 Willis Road died of natural causes July 20, 1987, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was a retired security guard for Hamrick's of Greenville and member of Locust Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Helen Viola Elrod Carroll of the home; a son, John Thomas Carroll of Charleston; two daughters, Elaine Stutts and Opal Lee Cumbee, both of Johns Island; two sisters, Floycie Holliday of Liberty and Joycie Merck of Six Mile; and a brother, John B. Carroll of Greenville.
Services: 3 p.m. Thursday at Locast Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Howze Mortuary, Travelers Rest.
The family is at the residence.
