Services for Thomas McLeod, 84, of Colfax, will be in at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist church in Colfax, with burial in Albia.
Mr. McLeod, a coal miner, died Monday at Iowa Methodist hospital. He suffered a broken hip in a fall two weeks ago. He was born in Sheffield, England, and had lived in Melcher before moving to Colfax about 15 years ago.
Surviving are his widow, two sons, two daughters, three step-children, nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
